This is the start of my new blog! I'm really excited about this and have some ideas that I want to try... like a prompt each week that could be used for either art or writing (OR to write a poem and then use it in a piece of art!) AND maybe some art swaps/challenges AND an occasional drawing for a small piece of art AND who knows what else will come to mind! Hopefully, as I get going on this, someone somewhere will read it. Very soon I want to figure out how to put pictures on.
For those of you that may not know me, I'm in my early 50's, have 4 grown children, 1 granddaughter, and another grandchild on the way. I'm a self-taught mixed-media collage artist and also do beeswax collage, art journaling, book arts, and assorted other art activities.
I'm really looking forward to this new adventure!
